Southeast Michigan Community Alliance

Southeast Michigan Community Alliance, or SEMCA is located at 25363 Eureka Road in Taylor Michigan.  The phone number is 800-686-6543.

SEMCA is one of the regional Coordinating Agencies designated by the Michigan Department of Community Health to administer federal and state substance abuse treatment and prevention programs.

SEMCA provides funding for substance abuse services to people living in Wayne County, excluding the city of Detroit.  SEMCA funds a full range of treatment services to underinsured and Medicaid recipients.  Those services are screening, assessment, referral and follow-up, outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, detoxification programs, case management, methadone maintenance therapy, residential treatment, culturally sensitive programs and drug courts.

To access services through SEMCA, you must call their access, assessment and referral department at 800-686-6543 to complete an oral assessment which will take about 45 minutes.  This department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  All callers will be offered an appointment the same day with the appropriate program and level of care identified.
