Senior Apartments

Senior Apartments are independent apartments that are age restricted starting at 55, or 62 years of age.  Some senior apartments have on site meal programs and housekeeping services available at a separate cost.

Federal and State programs can help pay for Senior Apartments for seniors with moderate or low incomes.  Rent payments are usually a percentage of the individual’s income.

Many Senior Apartment buildings include amenities such as a club house or meeting room, library, laundry facilities, a beauty or barber shop, transportation, or a fitness center.

Some Senior Apartments include a Service Coordinator to assist in accessing other services.
