RGRPS was founded in April of 1978, by concerned members of the Southeastern Michigan community. Many of the founders had worked with individuals with developmental disabilities in an institutional setting, and felt that other methods of providing for the special needs of this group should be developed. RGRPS is the outgrowth of the founders’ desires to provide alternative living arrangements for persons with disabilities.
RGRPS is currently licensed and certified to manage four group homes that are home to 21 people and provides assistance to 21 additional people residing in a variety of unlicensed settings.
