Personal Emergency Response System

The Personal Emergency Response System is connected to a phone line to provide a fast, easy connection to a 24 hour response center. The subscriber would wear a button, pendant, or wrist band to access assistance. There is an installation fee, and a monthly service charge. Many companies also offer medication reminders and devices to provide support in caring for someone with dementia. Different models and services are available, and you should discuss the various options and cost with the companies. Inclusion in this list does not imply endorsement, nor does exclusion imply dissatisfaction.
