The Take Charge Helpline
Michigan Enrolls
Michigan ENROLLS is a program responsible for educating and enrolling most of Michigan’s 1.2 million people who receive Medicaid into a managed care program. Since January, 1998, Michigan ENROLLS has assisted people receiving Children’s Special Health Care Services with education and enrollment, and in making an informed choice about health plans and primary providers.
Services are provided by trained enrollment counselors at the Michigan ENROLLS call center and in local communities. You can contact the Call Center toll free at 1-888-367-6557.
Michigan ENROLLS also offers beneficiary services which helps people through the enrollment process and provides assistance with the complaint and grievance processes. You can enroll in health plans by contacting the call center or obtaining an enrollment package through the mail. You can also visit a local field office to meet with a field counselor. The call center can assist you in finding your local field office. If it is difficult to leave home, you can request a home visit with a field counselor.
Michigan ENROLLS can be reached by calling the business office in Lansing at 517-324-9901 or the toll free enrollment hotline at 1-888-367-6557. A brochure is available online by clicking here.
