Citizens for Better Care strives to improve the quality of life for residents of long term care facilities and to prevent incidents of abuse, neglect and exploitation against the elderly. They also provide clear and accurate information to help consumers and their families make informed decisions about long term care services.
If you are choosing a long term care facility, such as a nursing home, home for the aged, or adult foster care facility and need information on what to look for, methods of payment, types of facilities, the level of care provided, or the location of homes in your community, call Citizens for Better Care at 800-833-9548 or visit them on the web at www.cbcmi.org.
